Presentation of a clinical case with photographic comparison referring to a pre- and post-therapy period. The Patient under study presented with a case of bilateral vitiligo, with presentation of facial hypopigmentation in the peribuccal and neck area, associated with beard incanutization in the follicles originating from the areas affected by the vitilitic disease.

The therapeutic choice is turned on the use of VITIwiken and VITIwiken cream combined with excimer laser phototherapy, this because the anti-inflammatory action of piperine and curcumin have already been shown in previous clinical and scientific studies to be capable of assisting the therapeutic efficacy of phototherapy and leading to improvements in the patient’s pigmentation status, reducing oxidative stress and allowing melanocytes to return to their physiological activity. Following a treatment of 4 months visible improvement in the patient’s pigmentation with increased normally pigmented skin surface was already beginning to be seen.
