On the occasion of Wikenfarma CEO Massimiliano De Carlo‘s 50th birthday, a charity party was held on Saturday, June 22, at LPH Hotel Montecatini Palace & Spa.The event was attended by many people close (both from a family and work perspective) to Dr. De Carlo, and what made it special was the collaboration with the A.I.P.A.F. to collect donations to support this very important association.
Present on the Italian territory for almost 10 years, A.I.P.A.F., or Associazione Italiana Pazienti Alopecia and friends ODV, formerly the nonprofit association Alopecia & Friends, actively fights in order to have alopecia areata recognized as an autoimmune disease and more: founded by Claudia Cassia, this organization works to give a helping hand to all people affected by alopecia areata, total alopecia and universal alopecia. A.I.P.A.F. perfectly internalizes the concept of the community solidarity and fights every day to pursue its goals, helping thousands of adults and children throughout Italy through mutual understanding and support.
Both before and during the event, all participants helped to send their donation to the association, in the hope that together we can take steps forward and be able to better support such an important nationwide project.
How was the event held?
The event was held on Saturday, June 22, at LPH Hotel Montecatini Palace & Spa in Montecatini Terme (PT): a joyful evening, characterized by an extremely serene, convivial and carefree atmosphere.
The evocative location with attention to the smallest detail welcomed the guests in a decidedly warm and hospitable manner with a plentiful welcome cocktail, accompanied by sophisticated and intensely flavored finger food.This part of the evening took place in the hotel’s large outdoor space, decorated with lighting effects and water features, designed to create a unique atmosphere.
Afterwards, the evening moved to the indoor hall, where the tables were renamed after some famous galaxies because, quoting Massimiliano De Carlo himself,“He who finds a friend, finds…a star!” In the hall, the various and sought-after seafood courses were served, with a gentle background of jazz music to cheer the evening.
The event concluded, again outside the hotel, where an excellent dessert was served, followed by coffee and ammazzacaffè.
A thank you special goes to all the guests who, even if only by attending the event, helped to support A.I.P.A.F. in the first place and make the evening unforgettable. Claudia Cassia, president of the association herself, said that the funds will be used to finance all the activities scheduled in the 2024 calendar.
