Immense success at S.I.Tri. congress held in Florence

A highly anticipated event for all specialists nationwide, the S.I.Tri Congress. 2023 was held on Sunday, April 23, 2023 in Florence at the Grand Hotel Baglioni, located at Piazza dell’Unità Italiana, 6. The congress was able to count many sponsors, including Gold and Silver, among which Wikenfarma stands out with its constant commitment and dedication aimed at updating the Italian medical class.
A huge thank you is certainly due to the entire scientific committee of the Italian Society of Trichology and Baldness Surgery(S.I.Tri.) who made the event unique and full of many enlightening interventions. "S.I.Tri Congress. 2023": how was the event held?
The S.I.Tri. Congress. 2023 organized by the Italian Society of Trichology and Baldness Surgery was structured with the formula of the presentation of medical and scientific reports by speakers and a final moment in which clinical cases in trichology were discussed. The topics and papers covered a wide field of interest, ranging fromalopecia areata to new therapeutic approaches in trichology; or to nail diseases or discussion of regenerative and mesotherapy therapies in trichology.
The event began at 9 a.m., ended at 6:15 p.m., and was divided into seven sessions interspersed with a coffee break and light lunch, at the end of which there was a time for discussion and questions that opened the way for important professional insights and moments of personal enrichment.
A very important aspect is the fact that the congress was CME-accredited, and participation provided learners and speakers with important educational credits.
"S.I.Tri Congress. 2023": what topics were covered?
The reports and clinical cases presented during the congress were a time of fruitful professional exchange among the physicians in the room. Some of the topics covered included the difficulty of diagnosing alopecia areata, therapies for alopecia areata in children, folliculitis decalvans, androgenetic alopecia in children, vitiligo of the scalp, new biotechnological molecules in follicular regeneration, and new therapeutic approaches for the treatment of a variety of scalp disorders.

The new frontiers of trichology
The congress was filled with many innovative papers and presentations of the highest scientific value, and of particular note were reports such as that of Dr. Fulvio Rocco Martone on the use of N-Acetylcysteine in therapies for children, that of Dr. Claudio Comacchi on the new formula for galenic lotions in the patient with vitiligo of the scalp, and the report by Dr. Paolo Gigli in which the brand new TriVIS Galeno, a solvent for galenic preparations designed and developed by Wikenfarma, which, as always, is in the front line to listen and accommodate the requests of the medical class, was presented.
The congress was full of news and updates and concluded with the registration of guests for educational credits.This was a multifaceted event with sublime scientific value. Every single physician in the room was able to participate and intervene in a rich exchange of ideas that certainly helped broaden the horizons of trichology even more.
