Yet another success of the 46th edition of the S.I.Tri. congress. and Milan records a never-before-seen attendance: the event was held May 23-25, at the Palazzo della Regione Lombardia and welcomed a huge number of physicians. This edition, as well as the others, enjoyed the support of an innumerable number of sponsors, among which Wikenfarma stands out, which always has at heart the promotion of events aimed at sharing knowledge and, above all, updating the international medical class in the field of trichology: on this occasion, Wikenfarma wanted to lend its support to the congress by participating as Galeno Farmacia di San Baronto, No. 1 in galenic preparations.
As every year, the driving force behind this event was undoubtedly the scientific committee, which, through brilliant speeches, contributed to making the entire convention unique, full of insights and interventions of high scientific value.

As every year, participation in S.I.Tri’s official CME-accredited event provided learners and speakers with important educational credits.
"S.I.Tri Congress. 2024": How was the event held?
During the 2024 edition of the S.I.Tri. Congress, organized directly by the Italian Society of Trichology and Hair Loss Surgery, Italian and international speakers discussed therapeutic and technological innovations and the new frontiers of medicine and nutraceuticals: the most relevant professional figures of the contemporary scientific scene presented their papers, generating an opportunity for exchange and sharing with immense educational value.
Scientific reports touched on various topics, including: alopecia areata, androgenetic and scarring alopecia, dermatoscopy-histopathology, regenerative medicine, and planning and correction of baldness through surgery.
Among the speeches, special commendation goes to the reports by Drs. Paolo Gigli and Claudio Comacchi, respectively on “The Role of Nutraceuticals in the Management of Inflammatory Processes in Trichology” and on “Alezzandrini Syndrome,” a rare variant of segmental vitiligo.
Interspersed with the physicians’ talks were free sessions and demonstrations of cutting-edge surgical techniques, in addition to invigorating coffee breaks.
