DO YOU WANT TO FIND OUT HOW TO STRENGTHEN THIN HAIR?
Here are some tips for thicker, lusher hair!
Index
A 2019 survey by the National Women’s Health Resource Center found that more than 60% of women have noticed massive thinning of their hair at least once in their lifetime, often over repeated periods; unfortunately, this figure follows an ever-increasing trend, mainly due to environmental factors that subject the scalp (and the entire body in general) to extreme stress.
The thinning, or miniaturization, of hair is a common problem that can affect both men and women: however, this condition predominantly affects those with long hair, as the hair’s essential nutrients are dispersed along its shaft, often leaving deficient areas that shrink as a result.
Thinning, in addition to making the scalp more vulnerable to the sun’s rays, is often the very cause of weakened hair follicles and thus potential hair loss.
But what is this thinning due to?
To go into detail, this process is due to several factors, such as:
- Genetic predisposition: sometimes there are hereditary and genetic conditions that cause hair loss and thinning, and these are often the most difficult to counteract;
- Sudden temperature changes: during these the production of cortisol, a stress hormone, increases, and this can cause hair to weaken abruptly
- Hormonal imbalances: too high levels of DHT or low levels of estrone (although these imbalances act differently) cause thinning, and often hair loss;
- Stress: again due to high cortisol levels, stressful situations or chronic stress can induce heavy weakening of the hair;
- Nutritional deficiencies of vitamins or minerals: such as iron, zinc or biotin, which are necessary for healthy hair;
- Medical conditions: some medical conditions may cause hair thinning as a side effect;
- Taking medications: some can lead to certain nutritional deficiencies that promote thinning;
- Prior hair damage: excessive use of styling products and tools (e.g., dyes, hairspray, gels, blow dryers, straighteners, etc…) can severely damage the scalp and hair length;
- Aging: with age, hair follicles tend to shrink and produce thinner hair. This is a natural process that affects most people as they age.
Is this an irreversible process?
Although an extremely common process, hair miniaturization presents a variety of solutions.
Thinning can result from a lack of attention to the scalp: a particularly aggressive shampoo or conditioner can strip the hair of its natural oils, robbing it of nutrients and making it more vulnerable. Using gentler products is undoubtedly an excellent starting point in defending and safeguarding the scalp. An additional boon for hair is to use styling products and tools sparingly, such as straighteners and blow dryers, or gel, wax and hairspray.
In addition, not everyone knows that nutrition is a major determinant of hair follicle health: this is precisely why a healthy, balanced diet can be of great help in replenishing essential hair nutrients such as, for example, iron, zinc, biotin, protein, vitamins, and minerals.
Often, however, if the deficiencies are very severe or, more commonly, there are malabsorption problems, the diet may not be enough to restore the strength of the scalp.
Is there a TARGET solution to strengthen hair?
To strengthen the hair and counteract follicle miniaturization, Wikenfarma research has developed RestaX Woman: a nutraceutical SPECIFIC to counteract hair thinning in women. This acts physiologically, balancing hormonal imbalances and replenishing nutrient deficiencies in the hair.
It is the first nutraceutical with metabolic action that acts directly on the life cycle of the hair, contrary to all competitors that usually base their strength solely on a mild multivitamin implementation. Thus, RestaX Donna turns out to be the most comprehensive product to strengthen hair and counteract thinning and miniaturization.
This product lengthens the anagen phase and activates stem cells thanks to the action of Agnocaste and physiologically blocks follicle miniaturization and loss thanks to Resveratrol; in addition, it is rich in Biotin, a deficiency of which causes thinning and color loss in the hair, and Nicotinamide, a chemical compound that improves peripheral vasodilation and follicle regrowth.
