Boom attendance at Wikenfarma single-sponsor conference!

This year, now as a regular event and a moment of the highest scientific and professional value, the fourth edition of the Congress “20 Clinical Cases in Trichology” was held: thanks to the participation of countless specialists, the clinical cases proposed and the structure of the event, this year again the success received went well beyond expectations and the day was confirmed as a moment of professional growth for all participants. There were as many as 130 participants compared to the 100 expected.

On February 18, the Wikenfarma Monosponsor Congress “20 Clinical Cases in Trichology 2023” was held at The Gate Hotel in Florence. Sincere thanks go to the president of the congress, Dr. Piero Tesauro, and the scientific direction composed of Dr. Fiorella Bini and Dr. Andrea Marliani. As every year, Wikenfarma had the honor of involving countless lecturers and of hosting the A.I.P.A.F.(Associazione Italiana Pazienti Alopecia and Friends) association founded by Claudia Cassia, who intervened with her important contribution alongside the speakers.
The founding house of the RESTAX brand again organized an event with important scientific content and interesting updates for the medical community, resulting in a great time of sharing.
Highlights of the congress
The Congress counted more than one hundred and thirty registered speakers and learners: their enthusiasm and proactiveness made this day truly rich in peculiar clinical cases, valuable scientific notions, and interventions that helped stimulate discussion among dermatology physicians present in the hall. For the first time, the speakers presented a five-part clinical case, which lasted more than an hour and aroused special interest in the audience, born from an enlightening idea of Dr. Paolo Gigli. The protagonists of this report presented in chorus were Dr. Elisabetta Fulgione, Dr. Rosa Giannatiempo, Dr. Piero Tesauro, Dr. Vincenzo Masullo and Dr. Paolo Gigli.
This year’s Congress again had an extremely DIFFERENT approach compared to other events in the national scene from the very first approach: the presentation of real clinical cases, the innovative TELEVOTER formula, and the focus on the patient were the focal points of the event, which helped make it unique. All speakers’ presentations were recorded and will be made available to the medical community for dissemination to physicians who were not present.
Why was it a DIFFERENT congress?
Thanks to the TELEVOTER formula, which was greatly appreciated by the learners in the room and by the speakers themselves, there was a continuous exchange among all the physicians present, which enticed each individual participant to follow with interest and attention the presentation of all the clinical cases and intervene with questions and doubts that stimulated further investigation.
Participants registered for CME credits at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 18, and right away the learners got into the thick of the Congress thanks to the introductory report by Wikenfarma CEO Dr. Massimiliano De Carlo: in addition to giving a necessary overview of the past year, the report focused on the company’s mission and vision, how Wikenfarma products are created and developed, and new projects for 2023.
What's new in 2023
The congress “20 Clinical Cases in Trichology 2023” was an important launching pad for a new PREMIUM brand of products for trichology: especially for female alopecia with severe inflammation (hair loss with scalp inflammation) in both fertile and less-pause women. This is TRIVIS, a premium range that sees the introduction of TriVis Donna 30cps (for female aga in fertile age), TriVis Donna Plus 30cps (for female aga in post-menopause), TriVis Lozione Uomo e Donna (lotions specifically for the treatment of androgenetic alopecia in both sexes) and TriVis Galeno (solvent for galenic preparations in trichology).
In addition, two other broader products were also presented. One of these is SeboEvo Spray, a sublingual biotin spray created through an important collaboration with Dr. Rosa Giannatiempo, which is presented as the first nutraceutical based on sublingual biotin spray, the form of which promotes very high absorption and easy intake. In conjunction, Diviken 15 spray, an enhanced version of Diviken Spray, a high-dose vitamin D supplement, was also presented.
The Wikenfarma Staff followed the guests in every way from the moment of arrival, ensuring a smooth and satisfactory course of the event, as well as responding to all the needs of the participants. The most sincere thanks go, as every year, to those who made it possible for the event to take place through their participation or presentation of clinical cases: it is, as always, a moment of the highest scientific value, valuable for the national medical community.
The classic car exhibition
Just outside The Gate Hotel, in the specially designated parking lot, all attendees were able to admire a splendid exhibition of vintage cars that proudly bore the RestaX and TriVis brands and accompanied the entire conference from start to finish, engaging all learners and speakers in a different way than usual.
The cars were rented from Classic Car Charter in Sesto San Giovanni and were used for marketing purposes: since vintage racing cars have always been a symbol of strength and speed, during the Congress they represented theefficacy and therapeutic speed of these two brands, always on the podium when it comes to the trichological field.
