CLINICAL CASE: PATIENT WITH PARESTHESIAS AND FUNCTIONAL LIMITATION OF HANDS

Female patient C.M.E. aged 49 years, assisted for more than 20 years. Teacher.
Medical history: Born at term. Two pregnancies with fetuses born alive with euthocic deliveries, in ABS until about 6 months prior to study when, following acroparesthesias in hands bilaterally, performed electromyographic examination with VCM and VCS with diagnosis of carpal tunnel syndrome more pronounced on left side with painful symptomatology and paresthesia (burning sensation) accentuated especially at night. Severe functional limitation.
This condition is treated with fans for 10 days, Neuroken cps 1 cps morning and evening for three months.
Test administration at time zero (09/02/2022), the start date of therapy described above.
Total score: 24
This score was obtained by assessing the intensity and duration of pain, the presence of paresthesias, muscle weakness, skin hypersensitivity, burning and functional impotence.
On 09/05/2022, then after three months of Neuroken therapy, he underwent a retest with total score of 04.
Conclusions: Analysis of the results shows a marked improvement in symptomatology, especially in algias and functional impotence.
