One of the most comprehensive and innovative courses in aesthetic medicine on the Italian scene was held on April 30, 2022, “Top of The Filler 2022“, under the direction of Dr. Francesco Malatesta. All in collaboration with the Gaetano Palloni Institute for Health, in Montevarchi (Arezzo), which hosted the course. The event was a true theoretical-practical training session for aesthetic physicians and dermatologists, who were able to enjoy top-notch interventions and try filler techniques firsthand with volunteer models.

The training proposal focused mainly on the field of aesthetic medicine, focusing especially on the filler technique, the correct methods of intervention. The success of the convention was clear from the very beginning: the packed hall exceeded expectations on the number of attendees, and, in fact, a great number of physicians actively participated and followed the various speakers’ presentations. Afterwards, practical tests on the models allowed the learners and speakers to experience various filler techniques, especially lip fillers, face fillers, and even a particular filler procedure operated on the buttocks of one of the models.

The day was basically divided into two very important moments: from 9 a.m. until the coffee break of 11 a.m., important presentations by specialists in aesthetic medicine followed; then practical sessions on rhinofiller (nose filler), lip filler, full face filler, and gluteal filler with a final panel discussion.
