The success of the international congress

As it does every year, a new edition of the ADI-ADMG Dermatology International Congress allowed for the gathering and discussion of a large number of nationally and internationally renowned experts, presenting itself as a wide-ranging and masterfully organized event. The event was held on Nov. 9-11, 2023 at the Hotel Villa Diodoro in Taormina and was organized by the associations A.D.I., whose president is Dr. Giovanni Fabio Zagni, and A.D.M.G., whose president is Dr. Santo Santoola. The congress was able to count more than 400 participations and registrations, turning out to be a real organizational success on the Italian and international scientific scene. The presidents of the congress were Prof. Rocco De Pasquale, Dr. Giovanna Moretti and Dr. Valeria Falcomatà.
Wikenfarma had the pleasure and honor of hosting some of the speakers at the trichology session held on Saturday morning, Nov. 11, 2023, where prominent personalities from the Italian trichological scene spoke: Prof. Andrea Marliani, Dr. Fiorella Bini and Dr. Paolo Gigli.
"ADI-ADMG Dermatology International Congress": how was the event held?
The entire event was divided into three days in which a wide variety of different speeches and topics were presented.It began on November 9, 2023 following the registration of participants, which took place from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
During the three days of presentations, many thematic and scientific areas were touched upon, covered from numerous points of view and interspersed with discussion sessions that served to enhance the scientific education of the participants, as well as enable them to be able to analyze numerous issues from different points of view and using a variety of approaches.
The opening of the congress was by Dr. Valeria Falcomatà, who presented the topic of organization and sustainability of the right to health.
The focal point of such an event is precisely that immense benefit, in terms of medical-scientific education, perceived by the entire audience of participants, who attended many presentations and were able to enjoy the speeches of 90 Italian speakers and as many as 12 international speakers: it is a 360-degree professional enrichment, also thanks to the perspectives of experts from other countries of the world.
"ADI-ADMG Dermatology International Congress": what topics were covered?
The reports and clinical cases presented during the congress were a time of fruitful professional exchange between all the experts in the room and the audience. The topics covered were among the most diverse and varied: for example, various aspects of the dermatology related to aesthetics or dermatology in pediatric setting; of new therapeutic approaches in childhood or adolescence; of regenerative medicinea; of various aspects of psoriasis; of chronic inflammatory diseases; of skin cancer; of new discoveries in trichology and their related medical and practical applications.
Each session had a specific theme, around which all the expert presentations revolved as they analyzed various aspects of certain medical problems or discussed experimental and non-experimental solutions for the treatment of certain types of disorders and diseases.
