As every year, a lot of congresses, conventions and events from a wide variety of topics are organized in the scientific field in a buzzing and ever-growing medical and research environment. There are many entities that promote scientific education and sharing, and this time again, Wikenfarma’s RESTAX brand is still at the forefront with its Congress “20 Clinical Cases in Trichology 2023.” Special thanks go to all those physicians who, even simply by their participation, are making the organization of this long-awaited scientific event in trichology possible.

First and foremost, immense thanks are due to the president of the congress, Dr. Piero Tesauro, and to the scientific direction composed of Dr. Fiorella Bini and Dr. Andrea Marliani: thanks to their support and an intense collaboration, it was possible to organize this unique event to be held on February 18, 2023 at The Gate Hotel, in Florence, named “20 Clinical Cases in Trichology 2023.” An important mention also goes to all the speakers, nationally renowned specialists, who will participate in the event and make it rich in insights through the presentation of interesting clinical cases and professional exchanges under the banner of scientific and medical innovation. In fact, for the second year in a row, the event has already been overbooked for more than a month, and requests for participation continue to soar: thanks are due to all those physicians who are showing their enthusiasm and interest in the event.
A DIFFERENT Congress
What really distinguishes “20 Clinical Cases in Trichology 2023” from the rest of the events in the Italian medical landscape? The answer is quickly said: the interactive TELEVOTER formula is now a proven and effective way to transform a simple one-way congress into an event where the exchange remains constant e alive between the speakers and all the learners in the room. In fact, just as during the previous edition of the congress, this year’s participants in the hall will be able to interact with the clinical cases presented by the speaker physicians and reason together about the formulation of diagnoses and the scientific rationale that guides experts in setting therapy for their patients.

The new disease-, age-, and gender-specific therapies
Wikenfarma is a company that is always growing and attentive to the needs of patients: for this very reason, more and more specific and targeted products have been developed in the area of trichology and aesthetic medicine during 2022.
To get specific, among the new formulations in the trichological field include RestaX Areata (specific for alopecia areata), RestaX Flogo (specific for male androgenetic alopecia with a strong inflammatory component), RestaX Gaba (specific for male psychogenic alopecia), Restax Shampoo Mask Repair (for the treatment of brittle and unstructured hair), Restax Shampoo Sebo Care Donna (sebum-regulator specific for female hair).
In the area of aesthetic medicine, however, a brand new line for women of childbearing age, IaLips, has been declined in the forms of nutraceutical, cream and serum: these are specific formulations for the treatment of post-filler lips and as anti-aging for the lip contour.
Are more new products planned for the future?
Given the excellent response from physicians and patients to Wikenfarma’s expansion into the field of aesthetic medicine, an anti-aging line specifically for men(ManAge) and one for full face anti-aging treatment in women(FillFace) will soon be introduced.
In the trichological sphere, other new, even more specific formulations are planned, such as the nutraceuticals Trivis Donna and Trivis Donna Plus for the treatment ofFemale AGA (pre- and post-menopausal female androgenetic alopecia) with a strong inflammatory component, Trivis AGA men’s lotion and Trivis AGA women’s lotion (specific for male and female androgenetic alopecia) and Biotin Sublingual Spray (specific for seborrheic dermatitis of the skin and scalp).
The main goal of Wikenfarma is, therefore, to be able to offer the patient a TAILOR-MADE THERAPY that is exactly tailored to his or her specific needs, acting in a targeted manner on the problem to be solved. All this, taking into consideration the characteristics of the person in question (such as gender and age).
