Rosmarinic acid and polypodium leucotomos contain important antioxidants; lycopene has an important antioxidant and anti-inflammatory action and is characterized by high bioavailability; selenium and spermidine contribute to the maintenance of normal hair.
Antioxidants prevent damage caused by UV radiation, which increases the rate of reactive oxygen species circulating in the body and can originate inflammation; anti-inflammatories reduce inflammation and thus help restore the physiological condition of the scalp skin. Inflammation is often concomitant to the aggravation of many trichological pathologies and results in hair loss; limiting the inflammatory effect of UV radiation on the skin allows serene exposure to the sun without the risk of aggravating any hair damage or already present hair loss. Black pepper extract has a metabolism-stimulating action, maximizing intestinal absorption of the other active ingredients.
