THE GOLDEN RULE FOR ALWAYS HAVING HEALTHY HAIR AND SKIN
Discover the benefits of Biotin (Vitamin B8) in safeguarding your skin and hair
Index
A study in the United States found that about 5 percent of the world’s population has a biotin deficiency, and this percentage is increasing with each passing year. Unfortunately, this is an issue that very often goes unnoticed, difficult to detect or recognize with certainty.
The great difficulties in diagnosing it often lie in:
- Non-specific symptoms: Symptoms can be generic and non-specific, which can lead to under-diagnosis, often inaccurate.
- Lack of standardized data: Not all countries collect data uniformly; therefore, there are no global optimum levels to refer to
- “External” factors: Biotin deficiency can vary among different nations and countries around the world due to factors such as diet, lifestyle, and medical conditions.
Because it is a difficult deficiency to intercept, people often underestimate the amount of negative effects it has, especially on the skin, hair, and muscle.
Biotin deficiency, in fact, can cause annoying night cramps and a feeling of perpetual fatigue accompanied by muscle aches. On the skin level, on the other hand, it can cause eczema, episodes of dermatitis, and small skin lesions due to the fact that this deficiency exposes the skin to the onset of these disorders. On the scalp, biotin deficiency causes thethinning of the hair and increases its fragility, consequently accelerating its fall. In addition, biotin deficiency often causes the onset of seborrheic dermatitis and dandruff.
But why is it so important?
Biotin, also called vitamin H or vitamin B8, contributes to the formation of antibodies and strengthens skin and hair by promoting the synthesis of keratin, a protein crucial to the hair fiber; this vitamin also helps to improve skin hydration and elasticity and, above all, is able to prevent inflammation, hindering the appearance of acne, alopecia, and other dermatological conditions.
Lack of this vitamin in our bodies may result from a genetic predisposition, but the most frequent causes of deficiency are due to stress, taking certain medications, a particularly drastic diet, excessive alcohol consumption, smoking, malabsorption of the vitamin itself, or, in the specific case of new mothers, due to pregnancy and breastfeeding.
Generally, these causes upset the balance of the body and are often combined with a state of asthenia and nausea, which are associated with dermatological disorders, as previously mentioned, leading to, for example: acne rosacea, seborrheic dermatitis, atopic dermatitis, dry desquamative dermatitis, and particular cases of nutritional deficiency alopecia.
Is it possible to REINTEGRATE Biotin deficiency?
To counter the consequences of severe biotin deficiency and restore the balance of skin and scalp, Wikenfarma research has developed Sebo EVO Spray: this is a Biotin-based nutraceutical spray with sublingual application and a pleasant green apple flavor. Sebo Evo Spray contains no excipients, chemical additives or sweeteners, which could cause allergic reactions.
Sebo EVO Spray differs from other supplements in that it is rapidly absorbed: since it is a sub-lingual application (i.e., to be applied under the tongue), it does not pass through the stomach or intestines, so it is not attacked by digestive enzymes. In addition, the high concentration of Biotin (3g/L) ensures maximum bioavailability of the active ingredient in an absolutely safe and risk-free manner.
