Enhancing the territory through the support of sports engagement is one of the goals of Wikenfarma which, this year in particular, has invested significant resources to promote and help some local clubs in the Pistoia region. Wikenfarma firmly believes in sports and the importance of its role for young boys and girls: a means of realizing dreams, a great source of motivation, an opportunity to spend time in company and to improve themselves through mutual help.

A STEP TOWARD FORMER GLORY:
THE REBIRTH OF THE BOROUGH TEAM

Founded in 1920, theASD BORGO A BUGGIANO CALCIO (formerly Unione Sportiva Borgo a Buggiano) has been among the ranks of minor professional soccer leagues, such as Lega Pro and Serie D, a championship that the borghigiana team won in 2011.

Now the blue team plays in the E round of the Tuscan second category and this year, as a newly promoted team, achieved an excellent ninth place.

A very young and close-knit team with grit, technique and heart, led by coach Luca Biagi, a DOC borghigiano, who for the fourth consecutive year (considering the first year as assistant coach) holds the reins of technical direction.

In addition to the first team, ASD Borgo a Buggiano Calcio can also count on a thriving youth sector; the 2009 team, coached by Paolo Casucci and Leonardo Lazzeretti, won the much-coveted Tuscan Cup this year after finishing the championship in third place.

The club is very present in the area, in fact it uses the sporting medium to accompany the boys in their growth path, offering not only a playful moment or collective recreation, but also an opportunity for aggregation and exchange: precisely for this Wikenfarma wants to openly thank the president of theASD BORGO A BUGGIANO CALCIO, Luciano Arabelli, his Deputy, Emerih Puccini, the General Manager, Orlando Lombardi, and all the staff of the club for their constant commitment to the enhancement of the boys and the territory.

By virtue of this, Wikenfarma decided to sponsor this sports association thanks to the RESTAX brand, with its disease-, age- and gender-specific products.Precisely because of the importance of enhancing the territory, this collaboration between two regional entities came about spontaneously and naturally.
