TRIVIS WOMAN PLUS is a triple-action formulation created to combat female alopecia with an inflammatory component in post-menopausal women. It is important to note that in postmenopausal women there is a physiological drop in estrone at the blood level, caused by the end of the fertile period, and this leads to a number of problems typical of menopause. Among these, the most common are hot flashes and osteoporosis.

In light of this, the formulation Trivis Woman PLUS is specific and optimized for women in older age, because it contains among its active ingredients substances with an anti-inflammatory/antioxidant effect, progestins that stimulate hair production by combating the effects of follicular estrone deficiency, which are the most common cause of female alopecia, and finally phytoestrogens, which help regulate mood, as well as also improve hair production and limit the effects of menopause. These substances act synergistically, enhancing each other’s effect: this is precisely where the concept of “triple strength” comes from, TriVis, referring to Latin etymology.

Trivis Woman PLUS contains the following active ingredients:

Agnocaste Extract(160mg): This is a natural progestin that is also capable of anti-androgenic action at the scalp level. Although it is not vital in a healthy woman with normal blood testosterone values, it is still important to supplement it so as to prevent the conversion of testosterone to DHT and facilitate, instead, the conversion to estrone. It thus promotes hair growth due to the presence of estrogen at the follicular level.

Garcinia mangostana extract(140mg): Contains alpha- and gamma-mangostin, which are substances with high antioxidant and anti-inflammatory power, and exert specific and selective anti-inflammatory activity for Type 2 cyclooxygenases. They do not have the typical side effects of anti-inflammatory drugs, such as acetylsalicylic acid, which inhibits both isoforms of the enzyme and can cause gastrolesiveness, nephrotoxicity, and coagulation problems.

Kudzu extract(100mg): Containing isoflavones that have important biological activity such as phytoestrogens. It has, in addition, mood-stabilizing properties by stimulating the production of dopamine and serotonin.

Hops Extract(100mg): Hops contain a wide variety of flavonoids, among which has great importance thehopein, the most potent known phytoestrogen, and has great bioavailability, hence estrogenic activity equal to that exerted by concentrations 50-100 times higher of soy phyto-estrogens such as daidzein or genistein. Given its higher activity, it is able to strongly limit the side effects of menopause, such as hot flashes, already at limited concentrations. In addition, as well as for Kudzu extract, being a substance with estrogen-like activity, it can induce at the hair level the lengthening of the anagen phase similarly to what endogenous estrogens would do.

Bamboo Extract(170mg): Bamboo is a natural source of biotin and organic silicon. Both are important contributors to hair well-being: silicon is used to produce collagen, which contributes to healthy skin and scalp and stimulates hair production.

Japanese polygonus extract (44 mg).: Containing resveratrol, an important natural antioxidant and anti-inflammatory.

Nicotinamide(25 mg): Component of the coenzyme NADH, essential in all biological reactions, from glycolysis to protein synthesis. In deficiency situations, a disease called “pellagra” develops.

Biotin(0.45 mg): As mentioned earlier in the section on bamboo extract, which is a natural source of biotin, biotin turns out to be of considerable importance for hair health. It exhibits sebum-regulatory effects in deficient individuals, thus helping them with issues such as seborrheic dermatitis or acne, which can arise as a result of prolonged deficiency of this micronutrient.

Probiotic containing 1 billion spores of Bacillus Coagulans: I B. Coagulans are able to absorb the glycosylated phytoestrogens from Kudzu and Hop, remove glucose molecules from them, which they use for their own metabolism, and re-emit the phytoestrogen in a less soluble form, but more easily able to cross intestinal cell membranes. By virtue of this, they make the absorption of phytoestrogens faster and more efficient, enhancing their efficacy and bioavailability.

Black Pepper Extract(7mg): In addition to having important anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties, black pepper extract stimulates metabolism, promoting the assimilation of the other active ingredients in the formulation.
