Icaro 30cpr is a state-of-the-art nutraceutical specifically for the physiological control of cholesterol.
Hypercholesterolemia is a widespread condition involving 21% of men and 23% of women who have blood LDL cholesterol values above the recommended threshold. La BERBERINE increases the membrane expression of a receptor protein that internalizes LDL but also physiologically controls cholesterolemia by inhibiting intestinal cholesterol absorption and increasing its secretion. It has an anti-steatotic and anti-inflammatory function so it is hypothesized to also exert its effects on vascular endothelium.
La SILIMARIN Acts synergistically with berberine in that it blocks ABC transporters and thus inhibits berberine excretion from enterocytes ensuring high plasma concentrations
The CARCIOPH titrated in Luteolin, Caffeilchinic Acid, Chlorogenic Acid and the Monacolin K exert synergistic action because they. they physiologically inhibit the enzyme HMG-CoA reductase and thus endogenous cholesterol synthesis.
La MONACHOLINE K in the liver is converted to lovastatin, which physiologically regulates the enzyme HMG-CoA-Reductase, which is useful in helping to maintain proper cholesterol values.
La VITAMIN C among all its properties, boasts the ability to physiologically modulate both LDL and HDL.
