First TricoRoadmap meeting: outstanding success in Turin!

On Thursday, September 19, the first stage of the “TricoRoadmap” took place in Turin and, as predicted, it was a huge success thanks to the never-seen-before format! The event was held at the “Terrazza Tiam,” a scenic and picturesque location located near the center of the Piedmontese capital.
The TricoRoadmap is an initiative organized and sponsored entirely by Wikenfarma: this project involves the organization of events throughout the country, and each region of Italy will, in fact, be the host site of the various related events.
But, let’s take a step back, what is the TricoRoadmap?
The TricoRoadmap in detail
The TricoRoadmap is a continuing education course aimed at the medical profession and is preparatory to the sharing of information and therapeutic solutions; this initiative was conceived, organized and sponsored in toto by Wikenfarma: the topics covered during these events are related to some trichological pathologies and some of their implications at the dermatological level, ranging fromAndrogenetic Alopecia (both in men and women) to Telogen Effluvium up to issues such as Seborrheic Dermatitis.
TricoRoadmap events are limited in number and have a standardized structure divided into several moments:
- Theoretical background and presentation of a topic to be discussed during the event
- Report by a medical specialist on therapeutic approaches with reference to any clinical cases and experiences
- Discussion, clarification and any questions
How did the first appointment take place?
An initial welcome buffet greeted the participants of the first TricoRoadmap meeting, whose topic was “Chronic, Acute, and StressTelogen Effluvium “: after the due theoretical premises with respect to the pathology, the report of Dr. Giuseppe Gallo (specialized in Trichology, Dermatology and Venereology), who explained to the guests further approaches to treat TE according to its manifestations, accompanying the appropriate clinical cases to the report.
Following this, the attending physicians were able to present and clarify any doubts, resulting in a moment of high scientific value through the sharing of common ideas, thoughts and knowledge.

In addition, the event was extremely well-received by the participating physicians, who appreciated the initiative and said they were “excited about future appointments. “For this very reason, the company can only be grateful to all those who made this first meeting possible.
