Description
Icarus 30cpr is a latest-generation nutraceutical specifically as a hepatoprotector for those cases of hypercholesterolemia and hepatic steatosis.
Hepatic steatosis is a widespread condition that affects about 1/4 of the Italian population and can lead to a variety of liver problems if left untreated. This is often related to hypercholesterolemia, which affects 21% of men and 23% of women who have blood LDL cholesterol values above the recommended threshold. Thirty-seven percent of men and 34% of women are in a condition defined as borderline or around 200mg/dl LDL cholesterol. Particularly at risk are the elderly population and menopausal women.

La BERBERINE helps reduce fatty accumulation around the liver, contributes to physiological liver function, preventing steatosis.
La SILIMARIN acts synergistically with berberine in that it blocks ABC transporters and thus inhibits berberine excretion from enterocytes ensuring high plasma concentrations of berberine.
CARCIOPH extract titrated in Luteolin, Caffeylchinic Acid, Chlorogenic Acid improves liver and biliary function. It controls LDL levels and improves digestion.
VITAMIN C intake helps prevent fibrosis and hepatic steatosis.
Icarus 30cpr is recommended for ages 18 to 69 years.
