Also in 2025 could not miss the regular appointment with the format “20 CLINICAL CASES IN TRICHOLOGY“: an ECM-accredited training and refresher event in trichology and dermatology, fully organized and sponsored by Wikenfarma. Also this year announces with honor and pride that this edition the number of participants exceeded that of the previous year, touching almost 200 adhesions.
A special and due thanks goes to the president of the congress, Prof. Marco Toscani, and to the scientific direction composed of experts and opinion leaders of the Italian trichological scene: Prof. Andrea Marliani, Dr. Fiorella Bini, Dr. Piero Tesauro, Dr. Paolo Gigli and Prof. Torello Lotti; thanks to their contribution, the Congress was an event with a very high scientific caliber.
Organized with commitment, method, and dedication, this congress provided a unique stage for the sharing of clinical cases, specific techniques, targeted solutions, and the most significant experiences in the field of trichology.
Of course, none of this would have been possible without the speakers and moderators who shared their experiences and opinions, contributing to the creation of a debate that was as constructive as it was formative. Precisely for this, Wikenfarma would like to thank Dr. Alessi Laura, Dr. Bianchi Elisabetta, Dr. Cianchi Silvia, Dr. Comacchi Claudio, Dr. Difonzo Elisabetta Margherita, Dr. Di Nunno Donato, Dr. Giannatiempo Rosa, Dr. Martone Fulvio Rocco, Prof. Moretti Silvia, Dr. Parlangeli Antonella, Dr. Rivetti Nicolò, Dr. Soverina Antonio and Dr. Villa Lucia.
We would also like to thank the Dr. Andrea Vanni and Claudia Cassia. Dr. Andrea Vanni again this year explained to the learners the project of the School of Trichology, a school founded in Florence by the Italian Society of Trichology(SITRI); Claudia Cassia, president of AIPAF odv, presented the White Paper on alopecia areata-a very important project born out of its ongoing commitment to the recognition of this condition.
As every year, the interventions of the Doctors and the presentations of the various clinical cases were extremely stimulating and educational elements. The topics covered revolved around the macro topic of scarring alopecias: a topic that involved in a heartfelt way all participants, who interacted through TELEVOTER and through questions to the speakers.
But how did the Congress practically take place?
In addition to renewing itself in topics, the congress was also renewed in structure. The day was divided into six different sessions: the first four involved presentations of papers or clinical cases by speakers, while the last two showed in practical terms how a specialized trichological examination takes place. A special focus goes to these live visits, which further enriched the participants’ experience by offering interactive sessions on advanced diagnostic techniques, innovative therapies, and surgical procedures. This format allowed participants to compare their medical approach with that of some of the leading experts nationwide, sharing with them doubts and solutions.
The event was interspersed with a Coffee Break at 11 a.m. and a Light Lunch at 1:20 p.m., both fully offered and sponsored by Wikenfarma.
The first session opened with greetings by Prof. Marco Toscani, president of the Italian Society of Trichology (S.I.Tri.), and an overview by Dr. Massimiliano De Carlo, CEO of Wikenfarma, who outlined the company’s latest innovations and all the successes achieved in the year just ended. Among them, a special mention goes to the launch of DryDil: a specific solvent for patients with hyperseborrhea to be used for the preparation of trichological galenic solutions.
Another pivotal moment in Wikenfarma’s 2024 was the induction of Dr. Omar Saracino, the company’s new general manager, who spoke during the event’s presentation, outlining the values and the new course of Wikenfarma with extreme enthusiasm and a clear vision.
In conclusion, the huge success of the fifth edition of the “20 Clinical Cases in Trichology” Congress was a source of great pride and satisfaction for Wikenfarma. There were so many participants to interact and contribute to the Event and made it, as every year, unique in every way.
